Šentjurij na Dolenjskem is a village in the Mirna Peč municipality in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church from which the settlement gets its name is dedicated to Saint George (Slovene: Sveti Jurij) and belongs to the Mirna Peč parish. It dates to the late 16th century with some later adaptations.[3]
The Slovene poet Tone Pavček was born in the village in 1928.
